Orphaned references in Immersion baptism
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Immersion baptism's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
[snip]
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 17:39, 2 December 2021 (UTC)

No early Church depictions of immersion baptism
[edit]I’ve searched for and not found any catacomb images (the earliest Christian art in existence) and found none even remote to immersion baptism. The artistic evidence depicting early Church practice is firmly depicting baptism by pouring (affusion). Pictures speak volumes. 2601:244:4B00:C00:AD4D:2D19:C8DA:8460 (talk) 01:17, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
